England, 2001 was where our founders coaching journey began. "I’ve always enjoyed helping others, that has always felt natural to me. I noticed early on that sports could be used as a powerful tool”.

Going on to study sports coaching, and gaining lots of on-field experience across many cultures and sporting levels. These experiences started to shape our method for 'using sports as a tool' to empower kids. "I understood sports and what skills were required. However, I wanted to know what coaching really was and how to connect and inspire children to learn and develop skills”.

In the year 2016, Proventus Kids was formed in Florham Park New Jersey. The word Proventus means 'more'. Our way of instruction focuses on the coaches being role-models and creating connections and environments for children to thrive - whilst also developing their sports skills! “Essentially it’s someone’s child that we’re coaching.. it’s very important that we give a genuine effort every time we coach.”

Today, Proventus has started it’s vision to use a wider variety of tools with arts and crafts, to empower kids!
